# Privacy

Effective September 2, 2026

## Data

You may use match13 without an account. If you sign in, Clerk processes your account information; match13 stores an opaque account identifier and the profile choices, favorites, recent results, saved views, settings, API-key records and usage you create. Convex stores that application data.

Preferences and working data may be kept in cookies, local storage or session storage. A random HttpOnly device cookie limits token requests and does not identify you by name.

## Operations

Vercel hosts the service and provides aggregate analytics and performance measurements. Sentry receives error diagnostics when enabled; it is configured not to receive account identity, cookies, request headers or IP addresses. We measure page paths and limited action categories, not search text.

If you select Time theme, an IP-based approximate location and a rounded coordinate are sent to location and sunrise services and cached locally. The map requests precise location only with browser permission; match13 does not store it. Service providers may otherwise process ordinary network data under their own terms.

## Control

Use the account page to change synced data or delete your match13 data and Clerk account. You may also clear browser storage or block cookies, although parts of the service may then work differently.
